Mass & Visit
Everyone is welcome at St. Stephen’s — whether you speak Hungarian, German, English, or simply come to pray in a sanctuary unlike any other in California.
Every Sunday morning
Coffee, pastry and conversation in the parish hall follow the Masses — stay and meet us.
Free parking in the parish lot, newly repaved and gated, directly beside the church.
St. Stephen’s has no on-site office. Our office is hosted by our sister parish, St. Patrick Catholic Church: 1046 E. 34th Street, Los Angeles, CA 90011
To request a Mass intention, speak with Monika Mohos before or after Sunday Mass, or reach her at (818) 846-2651 or monikamohos@yahoo.com.
Intentions received after the bulletin’s print deadline are offered all the same.
Wedding anniversary, baptism, First Communion, milestone birthday? Share names, dates and even pictures for the parish bulletin: Elizabeth.burmeister@gmail.com
Items are due by the last day of the month for the following issue.
Come early. Sit anywhere. Look up.The sanctuary rewards those who arrive before the bells

What to expect
Mass follows the same order you know from any Catholic parish — only the language of the prayers and hymns changes. Missals with English text are available, and parishioners will gladly help you follow along. Come early to take in the hand-carved sanctuary, and stay afterward for coffee in the hall.
